Finance

The Finance Department is where management responsibility is centralized for all of the City’s financial activity, including debt management. Major areas of responsibility include accounting, reporting, payroll, utility billing and collection, purchasing, budget operations, treasury management and municipal court. Other duties include processing accounts payable transactions, publishing financial statements, administering the cash management and investment program, coordinating the capital improvement program, invoicing miscellaneous receivables and maintaining all capital asset records.
